Bruce Brooks Pfeiffer (1930–2017) divenne apprendista di Frank Lloyd Wright presso la Taliesin Fellowship. Successivamente frequentò l’Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts a Parigi e nel 1958 tornò per portare avanti il suo apprendistato con Wright fino alla sua morte nel 1959. Pfeiffer ha fondato i Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Archives, dove ha catalogato le collezioni di disegni, manoscritti, lettere e altri documenti di Wright. È stato anche autore di numerose pubblicazioni sulla vita e l’opera di Wright.
